The short answers. If what you are after is not here, ask in the Telegram community - someone will know.
What is FOLK?
A weird indie sandbox MMORPG. You explore a shared, persistent world, collect strange creatures called Folks, gather resources, build a settlement, and generally do it alongside everyone else who is playing.
Is it free?
Yes. FOLK is free to play, and there is nothing you have to buy to play it.
Where can I play it?
In any web browser, as a Telegram Mini App, on Android and iOS, and on Windows, macOS and Linux. See every way to play, in one place.
Do I need to download anything?
No. FOLK runs in your browser - open folk.lol and you are in. Desktop and mobile builds exist if you would rather have an app, but they are optional. See the desktop and mobile builds.
What are the Folks?
Hand-drawn creatures pulled from folklore around the world - Japanese yūrei, the Mapuche colo colo, the Hungarian lidérc, the Alpine tatzelwurm, the American jackalope, and stranger things besides. There are many of them, spread across 14 elemental types.
Is there PvP?
Not at the moment. Combat is against the creatures and dungeons in the world, not against other players. But it's part of our roadmap.
What languages does it support?
Four: English, Russian, Spanish and Italian.
