# Town - FOLK Wiki

> The Town's buildings and what they do.

The Town is where the shops are. Anyone can come here, and there are no wild Folks, but you can't build, gather or dig.

## Buildings

- **Town Kitchen**: Cook dishes from your ingredients. See [Cooking & crafting](https://folk.lol/wiki/cooking).
- **Spells Shop**: Sells spells for your Folks, from 350 coins to 18,600 coins. See [Spells](https://folk.lol/wiki/spells).
- **Sawmill**: Coming soon.
- **Artisan**: Turns resources into new ones: Glass. See [Cooking & crafting](https://folk.lol/wiki/cooking).
- **Swap Shop**: The players' market: sell things to other players for coins, and buy what they sell. Only Rare or better artifacts can be listed. Listing costs 5 coins from your backpack or 15 coins from your Storage Room, and buyers pay 2% of the price (at least 5 coins) to get it in their backpack, or 5% (at least 15 coins) in their Storage Room. - **Tavern**: Coming soon.
- **Flower Shop**: Sells seeds to plant, from 15 coins to 35 coins. See [Gathering](https://folk.lol/wiki/gathering).
- **Portal**: Where you arrive in the Town. Step on it to travel to your island or to the Overworld.
