WHAT IS FOLK
FOLK is a world populated by creatures from our folklore called Folks. The aim of the game is to not only summon, fight and sell your Folks on the marketplace, but also to use the blockchain to push the concept of collectibles and their rarity to the next level. Players hold the key to elevating their Folks' status, transforming them into rarer and more prestigious possessions by enhancing their scarcity and boosting their Rarity level. Folk is built on top of TON and is playable directly from Telegram on desktop or mobile.
HOW TO PLAY
COLLECT ARTIFACTS
The Artifacts are items that the player can collect, sell on the marketplace or use to summon Folks. You can find the Artifacts by hatching the eggs of the 3 legged crow. Each of them can be either Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary, making some of them more difficult to mint and more valuable on the market.
SUMMON FOLKS
You can summon Folks using the Artifacts collected in game or buy them from other players on the market. When you merge two Folks you receive one with a higher level of rarity and greater fighting power. You can send your Folk, equipped with a spell, to the Arena to fight other players’ Folks. If you win, you’ll increase your affinity with your folk and reduce that of your opponent. Merging two Folks reduces their overall numbers, making yours more rare.
GATHER SPELLS
Spells are special attacks that Folks can learn and use in Story Mode battles or PvP battles. Each spell has different levels of rarity and power. When you teach a Folk a new spell, it will be stored in the Folk’s NFT attributes, increasing its value on the marketplace, especially for powerful ones
FIGHT IN THE ARENA
This is the place where players can test their preparation and, with a bit of luck, increase their affinity with their Folks and win other rewards. Each Folk has specific stats that influence its power in battle, and by merging two Folks of the same level, you can increase their values.
SOLVE THE SECRETS
Not much can be unveiled of the mysteries populating the world of folk, but it’s said that the first person capable of solving some of them might obtain invincible spells, unique folks or other rewards.
